Tracy Knox is a board member and senior-level executive with 25+ years of leadership experience scaling multiple global public and private companies within tech, including online marketplaces, e-commerce, internet services and communications. Tracy has served as CFO of three public companies, two of which she led through the go public process.
Tracy is skilled in complex business combinations including large M&A transactions, as well as complicated divestitures. Tracy has 15 years of deep corporate governance experience, having participated in and driven the agendas for the Compensation and Audit committees in both public and private company settings. Tracy is a Qualified Financial Expert and currently Chairs the Audit Committee for BabyList, a leading vertical marketplace, driving purchasing decisions for more than 8 million people each year.
Tracy recently retired from her role as CFO of Rover Group (NASDAQ: ROVR), the world’s largest online marketplace for pet sitting and walking services with operations in 10 countries. Under Tracy’s leadership, Rover’s GBV flowing through its platform grew 5X from $200M to ~$1B concurrent with dramatic improvements in the profit margin profile and the successful acquisition of the marketplace leader in Europe. In 2021, Tracy led the go public process via SPAC Merger with the company exiting 2021 valued at over $1.5B.
Prior to Rover, Tracy was the CFO of two publicly traded companies which she led to successful exits; Rightside (NASDAQ: NAME), a leading domain name services company sold to Donuts in 2017 and drugstore.com (NASDAQ: DSCM), a large e-commerce company sold to Walgreens in 2011.
Tracy earned her M.B.A, with honors, from the University of Washington and a B.A., Accounting from Indiana University.
