      Joe joined Lane Powell, a Pacific Northwest-based Law Firm with over 400 employees, in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for leading Finance, Business Operations & Pricing, Culture & DEI, Marketing & Business Development, Human Resources, Professional Development, Information Technology, New Business & Conflicts and Administration & Facilities.  During his time as COO at Lane Powell, Joe championed various operational improvement projects driving demonstrable profitability improvements.  These projects included strategizing and orchestrating reorganizational efforts resulting in improved leadership and teams, space planning initiatives resulting in decreased occupancy requirements, and process enhancement initiatives – specifically launching new rate setting, collections, and budget protocols – resulting in improved revenue and expense KPIs.

      Joe previously oversaw Business Operations and Practice Management for the Intellectual Property practice at Perkins Coie LLP, where he oversaw a team of approximately 330 lawyers and 100 professional support staff.

      Joe advanced his career in various Business Operations and Finance roles at Morgan Lewis and Dechert LLP, two global law firms headquartered in Philadelphia.

      Education

      Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The George Washington University.  He received his MBA from Temple University, specializing in Strategic Business Management.
