How long have you worked in accounting, finance, sales and/or tech? Recruiting?
Over 20 years in Sales, accounting, tech and finance- I’ve been recruiting for 1 ½ years with Seattle Search Group but was in charge of all hiring with my previous employer for over 5 years
How were you introduced to the recruiting industry? Christie Harms, who has been one of my best friends for over 10 years
Why do you look forward to working in accounting, finance, sales and/ or tech talent acquisition? I am excited to be part of a team that is motivated and has common goals of being successful
If you were to provide advice to peers in accounting, finance, sales and/ or tech seeking to develop their careers, what would it be? Always be professional and always have integrity.
What are 3 words to describe Cowen Partners (or your impression thus far)? Professional, impressive and organized
How do you plan on developing Cowen Partners? What are your goals for the coming year?
My goals are to have a successful career with Cowen Partners and grow with the Company by always learning and striving to be better
What’s your favorite thing to do in the Seattle/ Puget Sound Area?
Anything by the water. We are currently looking for waterfront property, most likely Gig Harbor area
We love spending time with friends and family dinners and walking on the waterfront
What did you originally want to be when you grew up? I wanted a career in advertisement or have my own restaurant
What’s your favorite ’90s jam? I am definitely more an 80’s girl but some jams that I loved and still love from the 90’s are Pony by Ginuwine, Alanis Morrisette’s jagged little pill album and TLC
